Ruby is survived by a son, Richard Barthmaier of Stratford; two daughters, Kathleen Martin of Southbury and Ellen Pascarella and her husband Anthony of Indian Trail, NC; two grandsons, Anthony and Christopher Pascarella; a granddaughter Emma Pascarella; a sister, Marjorie Gomperts; a sister-in-law, Betty Jane Paradise and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by an infant daughter; two sisters, Avis Scalzi and Mae Priestley and a brother, William R. McDonald. The family would like to thank Shamrock Healthcare for their compassionate care of Ruby, especially nurses Donna Mulligan and Melissa Koman and her aide Primrose Brown. Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. by meeting directly at St. James Church, Main St., Stratford. Interment and all other services were private.
