Obituary for Sarah Gray
Sarah Gray, age 44, of Naugatuck, beloved wife of Andrew Hefferon, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in the Connecticut Hospice, Branford, CT. Sarah was born in Milford, Connecticut, May 7, 1977, daughter of Frederick and Catherine (Hughes) Gray.
She worked in the Health Care industry as a PCA, but family was everything to Sarah. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and aunt who always put family first. She loved the Walking Dead, home remodeling shows, cooking shows and her YouTube videos. She also loved to read and would enjoy getting lost in a good book. If anyone needed anything she was always there to help if she could. Sarah also loved football, wrestling and NASCAR and was such fun to be around. She loved Hard and was one of the most loyal people anyone could know. You always knew where you stood with her and was a blessing to those who knew her. Rest in peace sweet girl your families got it from here.
Survivors, in addition to Andrew, include her three children, Sylvio Rapuano, Branden and Joshua Hefferon; one grandchild, Mateo Rapuano; one brother, Frederick Gray and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her stepfather, Edward Tatro.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her Life on Tuesday September 7, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford. Face masks will be required.
Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Stratford.
Friends may visit with her family before service time from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Funeral home.
