Obituary for Sharon Lynn Aurelia
Sharon Lynn Aurelia, age 54, of Stratford, passed away peacefully into the hands of the Lord with her family by her side on Thursday, July 24, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Salvador Aurelia III. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Sandra Aurelia and Salvador Aurelia IV. Born in Bridgeport, she was a devoted daughter of Sandra and William Gellatly and had been a lifelong Stratford Resident. Sharon worked as a Medical Auditor at Nuance Communications. She was an active member of Black Rock Congregational Church, loved her community group and her Bunco friends. She is survived by her brother Guy Gellatly and her sisters, Jennifer Sirella and Deborah Becker and their families. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, her mother-in-law Carole Aurelia (late husband Salvador Aurelia Jr.), sister-in-laws Elizabeth Aurelia and Amy Hoffmann, brother-in-laws Vincent Aurelia and Christopher Aurelia and their families along with several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11:00 am at Black Rock Congregational Church, Fairfield.
