Obituary for Shirley A. Barnes
BARNES - Shirley A. (Brecklin) Barnes, age 78, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Harvey J. Barnes, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Barnes was born in Bridgeport, February 6, 1937, daughter of the late Emil and Margaret (Kish) Brecklin. Survivors include one son Michael Fox of Jacksonville, FL and two daughters, Debra A. Fox of Jacksonville, FL and Dr. Cheryl Lyon and her husband David of Ansonia; one sister, Barbara Basher of Stratford, four grandchildren and two nephews. Friends are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. by meeting directly at Union Cemetery, 23 Temple Court, Stratford, CT.  Donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the Audubon Society, 314 Unquowa Road, Fairfield, CT 06824, https://ssl.charityweb.net/ctaudubon/donate.htm.
