Serving Our Community Since 1951Shirley worked at Centrix Dental Supply for over 31 years. She was full of life and a regular on the local Bingo circuit, she loved going to the casino, but mostly Shirley cherished her family.
Survivors include her three children, Cathy (Gott) Marini and her husband Massimo of Ansonia, Christine (Gott) Freed and her husband Saul of West Virginia and Joseph Belfiore, Jr. and his wife Joanne of West Virginia; six grandchildren, Samantha (Bell) Gebhart and her husband Gabriel, Jeannie (Bell) Seibert and her husband Josh, Sarah Marini, Steven Marini and his fiancé Maria Poggio, Joseph Belfiore III and Angelica Belfiore; four great-grandchildren, Kaylee Seibert, Obadiah Seibert, John Seibert and Gabriella Rose Poggio-Marini; two brothers and a sister, Ron Carleton and his wife Evelyn, David Carleton and his wife Ellie and Katherine Carleton all of Maine and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son Carl H. Gott III, whom she will be interred with in Lakeview Cemetery, and two brothers, Stephen Carleton and Herbert Carleton.
Friends are invited to visit with the family Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. officiated by the Evangelist Dorathy Smolkis in the William R. McDonald funeral Home 2591 Main St, Stratford. Interment will follow in in Lakeview Cemetery.
