Obituary for Stephany (Plucinski) Kirik
Stephany(Plucinski) Kirik age 97, of Trumbull and previously of Stratford beloved wife of the late Stanley Kirik passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 in Trumbull.
Mrs. Kirik was born in Wallingford, CT December 16, 1920, daughter of the late Jozef and Brunislawa (Iwanicki) Plucinski and had been a long time Stratford resident before her recent move to Trumbull.
Stephany enjoyed traveling and had traveled extensively through Europe and Asia. She was an avid reader, a meals-on-wheels volunteer, loved classical music, tending to her garden, playing bridge, and was a member of many organizations: the Shakespeare Theatre Guild, the Stratford Historical Society, the Polish Heritage Society and the Klein Memorial Symphony Guild to name a few.
Survivors include her son, Randy Kirik and his wife Yachitt and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service officiated by Reverend Meg Williams on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. by meeting directly at the First Congregational Church of Stratford, 2301 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615.
Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
