Obituary for Susan Caplinger Shenett
Susan (Caplinger) Shenett, age 57 of Milford, beloved wife of Gary Shenett, passed away Sunday January 5, 2020 in the Golden Hill Health Care Center, Milford.
Susan was born in Bridgeport, July 11, 1962, devoted daughter of Jeanette Raveis and the late Dennis J. Caplinger and had been a lifetime area resident.
Sue was the retired manager of the Kmart diner. She grew up in Fairfield and was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School. She enjoyed camping and outdoor activities.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her siblings, Dennis Caplinger and his wife Diane and Jamie Caplinger and her longtime partner, Samuel Febbraio, nieces and nephews, Kyle Buonincontra and his wife Nina, Jerri Buonincontra and his wife Danielle, Sarah Farrell and her husband Dan and Michael Caplinger; great-nieces and nephews, Jax, Brynn and Olivia.
The family would like to thank the Milford Fire Department, EMT’s and her aid, Debbie.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral service celebrated by Deacon John Piatak on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford.
Friends may visit with her family Saturday before service time from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
