Obituary for Terry John "TJ" Ramalho
Terry John “TJ” Ramalho, age 20, of Stratford, beloved son of Terry and Kimberly (Harrington) Ramalho and brother of Keli Ramalho passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in Yale New Haven Hospital.
TJ was born October 18, 1998 in Bridgeport and had been a lifetime Stratford resident.
TJ was a 2017 graduate of Stratford High School, He enjoyed watching sports and going to Ball games with his dad and friends. His favorite teams being the NY Mets, Dallas Cowboys and NY Knicks. Dez Bryant was his all-time favorite Cowboy…Big thanks to Uncle Nick and Auntie Ainsley for the Dez Fathead that adorns his bedroom wall.
He loved playing video games with his friends and numerous cousins. He enjoyed Kevin Hart and the Marvel movies - with Ironman being his favorite. He also enjoyed listening to Bruno Mars, Drake, Katy Perry and Michael Jackson music. He loved his dog Rocco so much. Rocco would greet hm every day when he would get off the bus from school with big smiles from both.
He also loved his Sunnyside Family. He loved swimming and spending time with his cousins. He was grateful for his friends he met at MDA camp – specifically Josh and Jacob (the Triple Threat). Some of his best times were spent with the Indian Guides – going camping and various other multiple outings (Pals Forever)
In addition to his parents and sister, TJ is survived by his maternal grandparents, Robert (Sandy) Harrington and Barbara Haviland; five uncles, Nick (Ainsley), Jack (Rebecca), Francisco (Sandra) and David (Kathy) Ramalho and Patrick (Jenny) Harrington; six aunts, Colleen (Sandi) Harrington, Debbie (John) Michelson, Sharon (Joe) Belle-Chaplin, Deborah (Darrel) Fedrick, Reba (Mark) Gaines and Vivian (Craig) Ramalho Teachey and many cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by an aunt Wendy Burl.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service officiated by Deacon John Piatak at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St, Stratford.
Interment will be private.
Friends may visit his family before service time from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm in the funeral home.
