Obituary for Theresa "Terry" Bruno
Theresa “Terry” Bruno, age 90 of Stratford, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, New York, June 14,1931, daughter of the late Bartolomeo and Luisa (LaStella) Bruno and had been a lifelong Stratford resident.
Terry retired from retail sales and had worked at Levitts' Department Store, Gimbels, and Burlington. She enjoyed traveling especially to Europe with friends and to Florida to be with her sister Lee, brother Andy and their families. Terry enjoyed cooking, especially her special chicken soup and pasta fagioli. She loved Frank Sinatra, IlVolo and all things Italian.
The love of her life were her nieces and nephews, including Marylou Rome, Bart Bruno and his wife Gwen, Phyllis Utter and her husband Bernie, Marylou Joyce and her husband Eddie, Chuck Doria and his wife Lorianne and Bart Bruni and his wife Harriet; as well as many adored great nieces and nephews and great-great nephews, especially Michael and Patrick Rome.
She will also be missed by her furry friend, Ralphie.
She was predeceased by her siblings Andrew Bruni and his wife Angelina, Lee Doria and her husband John and Michael Bruno and his wife Patricia.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. by meeting directly at St James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford.
Interment will follow in Saint Michaels Cemetery, Stratford.
