Obituary for Thomas W. Bonney
BONNEY Thomas W. Bonney, age 56, of Stratford, beloved husband of Barbara (DeBernardo) Bonney, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Bonney was born in Bridgeport, son of the late James and Rita (Hanley) Bonney and had been a life time Stratford resident. Tom was a graduate of Bunnell High School and was retired from the town of Stratford. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, loved everything about motorcycles especially riding them, was a great father and cherished his family. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his three children, Thomas Bonney, Chris Noble and his wife Kelly and Kelly Noble; three grandchildren, Miley Rae Hehn, Riley James Hehn and Arianna Mackenzie Rowe; five brothers and sisters, Maureen Delp, Doreen Black and her husband Robert, Joseph Bonney and his wife Margaret, Colleen Savko and her husband Jeffrey and Timothy Bonney and his wife Lori and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant brother Jimmy. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family before service time from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support his family, care of Kelly Noble.
