Obituary for Veronica M. Fellows
Veronica M. (Solomon) Fellows, age 80, of Norfolk, CT and previously of Stratford, beloved wife of the late William J. Fellows, Sr., passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 in the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington, CT. Mrs. Fellows was born December 16, 1937 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late William and Julia (Sharkey) Solomon.
Veronica was retired from Stop & Shop and was the former owner of Longbeach Skateland in Lordship and a co-owner of 3 Bells Farm in Norfolk. She enjoyed playing the organ, skating, ceramics, crocheting and traveling.Â
Survivors include her four children, Rosemarie Rosa and her husband David of New Haven, William J. Fellows, Jr. and former wife Anna Kent of Stratford; Anthony J. Fellows of Norfolk and Patricia Ann Fellows and her partner Bruce Craighill of Norfolk; ten grandchildren, Dana Fellows, Jessica Kent, Erica Kent, Daniela Fellows, David Craighill, Tabitha Craighill, Christine Craighill, Jessica Nolette, Amber Rose, and Mark Jacobson; four great-grandchildren; one brother, William Solomon and his wife Kathy of Hinsdale, New Hampshire, step-son Donald Fellows and his partner Kathy Hart of Drakeville, CT and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a step-grandson Kenneth Jacobson. Â
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford.
Friends may visit with the family before service time from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.Â
