Obituary for Virginia Grenier Guevin
Virginia Grenier Guevin, age 93, wife of the late Paul Guevin, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 14 2013 in her home. Born in Bridgeport December 15, 1919 daughter of the late Al and Marie Grenier, she was a long time Stratford resident. Virginia was a retired executive secretary at American Bead and Chain Co., Bridgeport. She is survived by her cousins Elizabeth and Geary Maher of Berlin, Carol Bellucci and Maureen Grenier both of North Branford, Edwin and Marge Brainerd of Florida and Julie Kaloustian of Michigan and her friends Mary Beth and John Eckert. Her family extends heartfelt thanks to Bette Saloman and Karen Rawson-Wu for the care given to Virginia. Friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday at 9:30 am from the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford and at 10:00 am in St. Mark Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven, CT. Visitation will be Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Covenant House, 346 west 17th Street, NY, NY 10011.
