Obituary for Virginia (Kelley) Bredice
Virginia Mary (Kelley) Bredice age 88, of Stratford passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in CT Hospice, Branford.
Mrs. Bredice was born November 25, 1929 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late William and Theresa (Flynn) Kelley and had been a lifetime area resident.
Virginia was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved tending to her grandchildren. She was famous for her Italian meatballs of international fame.
Virginia is survived by her devoted son, Anthony M. Bredice; her granddaughter, Allessandra Bredice; her husband, Anthony P. Bredice; her dear friend, Delores Reynolds and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her grandson, AJ Bredice, her son, Frederick Bredice and five siblings, Clifford Kelley, William Kelley Jr., Joan Kliczewski, Constance Nardele and James Kelley.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Father Rogerio Perri on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford, CT.
Interment will be private.
Friends may visit with the family before service time from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford, CT.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the AJ Foundation, C/O Grampy’s Charities, 261 Ledyard St, New London, CT 06320.
