Obituary for Virginia O'Shea
O’Shea - Virginia O’Shea of Stratford, entered eternal life Sunday, October 27, 2013 in St. Joseph’s Manor, Trumbull. Virginia was retired from Sikorsky Aircraft and was born April 11, 1926, in Stratford, daughter of the late Jack and Elizabeth (Cleary) O’Shea and was a lifetime Stratford resident. She enjoyed music and spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all especially her cat, Tulip. Her survivors include one sister, Elizabeth O'Shea of Trumbull; five nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Branch of Woodbury, Dr. Leonard Branch III and his wife Piyada of Florida, Mary Branch of Bridgeport, John Branch of Bridgeport and Vicki Novelli of Bristol; two grandnephews, Devin Branch and Justin Branch; one grandniece Lisa Helming and her husband Travis and one great-grandnephew, Nathaniel. She was Predeceased by one sister, Catherine (O'Shea) Branch and one nephew Phillip Branch. Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. by meeting directly at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. All other services are private. For more information or to offer a message of condolence, visit
