Obituary for Vivienne Henry-Mckenzie
Mrs. Vivienne Henry-Mckenzie, late of Kingston, Jamaica passed away on Holy Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Mrs. Vivienne Henry-Mckenzie was born in Jamaica on August 25, 1956 and passed away at the age of 62.
Mrs. Vivienne Henry-Mckenzie was the first child and only daughter of the late Ms. Lorene Jarrett and Mr. Winston Henry.
Mrs. Vivienne Henry-Mckenzie leaves behind two adult children Marlon and Wayne Johnson, as well as her four brothers: Adrian, Dwight, Geoffrey and Peter Jarrett and many nieces, nephews cousins and extended family.
In her life she made many sacrifices in order to achieve her accomplishments. Mrs. Vivienne Henry-Mckenzie was a retired bank manager by profession. Her hobbies included going to the beach, cooking, travelling and participating in church activities.
Everyone who knew Mrs. Vivienne Henry-Mckenzie will say that she had the most quiet, serene and gentle spirit. Her laughter was that which was genuine and natural. She was a very fun loving and kind person. In her final days, she dealt with her sickness with such strength and humility. Her faith in God was strong and she never waivered.

Friends and family can gather for her service officiated by Reverend A. Elaine Richards on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St. Stratford, CT.
Interment will follow in Kensico Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. in Valhalla, New York.
