Obituary for William C. Mancini
William Carl Mancini, age 65 of Stratford, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at St. Josephs Manor in Trumbull. He was the beloved son of the late Carl William Mancini and Barbara (Stoll) Mancini.
William is survived by his beloved daughter Kaitlyn M Mancini, her mother Dawn M Anderson, his brother Robert Mancini, sister Carol Christensen and her husband Richard Christensen, his uncle Edward Mancini, his aunt and god-mother, Florence (Stoll) Coffin and many cherished cousins.
His life was full of wonderful memories and interests, such as motorcycle rendezvous, horse shoes, baseball, and his loving friends and family. His greatest accomplishments were his daughter, building the family cabin in NH, and traveling across the United States. William graduated from Bunnell High school in 1973 where he then began work at Keating Ford and Manis Harley Davidson where he continued his love and passion for mechanics and motorcycles that he shared with his daughter.
William fought for his life with the love and support of many, including his brother Robert, daughter Kaitlyn, dear friends Jim and Judy Tighe, and life long friend Glen Gallant for over 8 years at St. Joseph’s Manor in Trumbull where he was deemed president of council. There’s not one person that did not enjoy his company or witty sense of humor. He will forever be missed.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford.
