Obituary for Janice (Tibor) Franco
Janice Lorraine (Tibor) Franco, age 60 of Milford passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at home. Mrs. Franco was born October 1, 1956 in Bridgeport and was a lifetime resident of Stratford and Milford. She attended Jonathan Law High School and worked at Warnaco for several years.
Janice enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, and taking Spanish classes at the Baldwin Center in Stratford. She had a lifelong love of art, music, and dance, and played piano.
She is survived by her daughter, Lylah Franco Hannon and husband Dave of Hamden, a nephew, Edward Tibor III of Meriden, and several aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward Tibor Sr. and Mary Jeanne (LaValley) Tibor, sister Audrey Simon, and brother Edward Tibor Jr.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral service officiated by Deacon Timothy Bolton on Wednesday Evening, November 23, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford CT. Friends may visit with her family Wednesday before service time from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
