Obituary for Audrey Cappello
Audrey Cappello, age 84, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Webster B. Scott, Sr. and Charles Cappello, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Cappello was born December 30, 1936 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Chester and Frances Mary (Pribesh) Couture.
Mrs. Cappello was retired from Casco. She enjoyed going to the casino and traveling, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her three children, Wesley Ward Scott (Susan) of Summerville, SC, Webster Burton Scott, Jr. of Milford, CT and Deborah Lynn Scott of Stratford, CT; sister Frances (Couture) Severance of Stratford, CT and brothers, Paul Raymond Couture of St. Cloud, FL, and Chester Raymond Couture, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Diane Samoskevich and Nancy Lee DeFrancesco and grandson Wayne Scott.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615. Friends may visit with her family Thursday before service time from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Face masks will be required.
Interment will be private.
