Obituary for Lewis E. Waller Jr.
Lewis E. Waller Jr., age 71 of Stratford beloved husband of Celeste (Silva) Waller passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford.
Mr. Waller was born June 13, 1947 in Bridgeport, son of the late Lewis and Gladys (Melvin) Waller Sr. and had been a life time area resident.
Lewis was a retired machinist for Avco industries and Precision Metal Products. He was an avid basketball fan, enjoyed traveling, camping and cycling.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his four children, Lewis Waller III and his wife Veli, Michele Waller, Michael Waller and his wife Tracey and Danielle Ballard and her husband Wayne; five siblings, Leonard Waller and his wife Myra, Kevin Waller, Drew Waller and Ronald Waller and Rose Blackwell; ten grandchildren, Joyce, Lewis IV, Jaeden, Jesse, Jenea, Larry, Michael, Nazaire, Chanel and Arianna; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Larry Waller.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service officiated by Reverend Meg Williams on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St, Stratford.
Friends may visit with the family before service time from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Lewis may be made to the National Park & Forest Service https://www.nationalforests.org/donate or a State or National Park of your choice.
