Obituary for Diana Schirillo
Diana Schirillo, age 78, of Shelton and formerly of Soundview Ave., Stratford, entered Eternal Life Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born July 14, 1936, daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Pasquariello) Schirillo, she was a lifelong Stratford resident. Diana was a graduate of Stratford High School Class of 1954 and retired from Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center after 26 years of service. She was an accomplished artist who created many beautiful paintings. She is survived by a brother, Robert Schirillo and his wife Ann Marie of Waterbury; two sisters, Nettie Geffert and her husband Robert of Shelton and Ann Marie Geffert of Shelton and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Joseph Schirillo and one sister, Rosaline Solomon. Friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford and at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Garden Mausoleum.
