Obituary for Harry Smith
SMITH — Harry S. Smith, age 60, of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Margaret (Russell) Smith passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Saint Joseph's Center, Trumbull.
Mr. Smith was born in Bridgeport, September 11, 1955, son of the late Samuel H. and Barbara (Taylor) Smith Jr. and had been a life time area resident.
Harry was a United States Army Veteran and was retired from Flowserve of Milford. CT. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his brother Edward Smith of Bridgeport and several loving relatives.
He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Smith.
Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service officiated by Reverend Simeon Law on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family before service time from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harry may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society, 101 Deer Run Drive, Colchester, CT 06414.
