Obituary for Ann (Olsavsky) Janosko
Ann M. (Olsavsky) Janosko, age 103, originally from Stratford, CT passed away peacefully on January 17, 2022, in Wilmington, NC. She was born in Stratford to the late John and Mary (Najmik) Olsavsky on August 9, 1918 and was a Connecticut resident for over 80 years before moving to NC.
She is predeceased by her husband Edward O. Janosko, and all of her and Edward’s numerous brothers and sisters.
While in Stratford, Ann was employed at Warnaco for many years, retiring from there as a quality control manager, and was an active member of the Holy Name of Jesus Church.
She is survived by her two sons Ronald Janosko and wife Mary Ann of South Yarmouth, MA, Dr Edward O. Janosko and wife Sherryl of Wilmington, North Carolina and daughter Mary Beth Stern and husband Dick of Encinitas, CA. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Kevin Janosko, Katherine Lemire, Brian and Eric Stern and Eddie Janosko; great grandchildren Gordon and Beckham Lemire as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. by meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave, Stratford, CT 06614.
Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT.
