Obituary for Arlene P. Boyhan
Arlene P. (Poidomani) Boyhan, age 71, of Shelton, CT, passed away April 18, 2020 surrounded by true heroes in the Bridgeport Hospital COVID-19 Unit. Better known as Lee to her close friends and family, she was the daughter of the late George and Jennie (Incato) Poidomani of Fairfield,CT.
Arlene graduated from Andrew Warde High School in 1967. She went on to work for Country Home Bakery in Stratford,CT. She was also a long time employee of Pitney Bowes in Trumbull, CT and American Cable Electronic Services in Bridgeport, CT. In addition to her employment, Arlene was also an amazing multimedia artist and a U.S. Patent holder for a small child's hair washing device she registered in 1987. In her final years, she also provided full-time care to her granddaughter Sarah.
She is survived by her children Shawn Boyhan and his wife Jennifer of Shelton and her daughter Heather Stone along with her husband Shawn of Mora, MN. She is also survived by her sisters, Jeanette Paraska of Stratford, Dolores Mazas of Prospect and Debra LaRose of Oxford, in addition to several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Arlene will always be remembered lovingly by her grandchildren Zachary, Connor and Lilliana Stone of Minnesota and Sarah Boyhan of Shelton CT, and her step-granddaughter Rhiannon Jarusinsky of Stratford,CT.
A private memorial service will be planned by the family at a later date.
