Obituary for Colleen (Kerrigan) Soldi
Colleen (Kerrigan) Soldi, age 66, of Milford, beloved wife of John “Jack” Soldi, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Colleen was born May 16, 1954 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Wallace and Doris (Alber) Kerrigan and had been a lifelong area resident.
Colleen was employed in the Payroll Department of MacDermid Inc. She loved her UCONN Girl's Basketball, was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan, never missed an episode of “I Love Lucy," enjoyed gardening and was a lover of cats. Colleen enjoyed her family most of all. She loved watching movies together and was very protective of them, always wanting nothing but the best for her children and husband Jack.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Brian Battistelli, Stephen Soldi, Jeffrey Soldi, David Soldi and Patrick Soldi; two siblings, Deborah Kerrigan and Joseph Kerrigan; grandson, Dominick Battistelli; sister-in-law, Rena Kerrigan and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Wallace Kerrigan Jr.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. A walk-through visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
