Obituary for Eileen Peel
Elieen (Middleton) Peel, age 79, of Stratford, beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Peel, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Peel was born February 19, 1937 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late George and Lucy (Heeney) Middleton and was a lifetime Stratford resident.
She was a retired bookkeeper for the Ahlbin Center. She enjoyed all arts and crafts, especially crocheting, knitting and ceramics but, at the end of the day, she loved her family the most.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her daughter Luanne Sciongay and her husband Eugene of Dexter, Maine; three grandchildren, Jamie Bachman and his wife Tiffany of Shelton, Jarrett Sciongay and his wife Cynthia of Danbury and Shane Sciongay of Dexter, Maine and three great-grandchildren, Cadence, Rylan and Jarrett Jr "JJ".
She was predeceased by two brothers, George and Jim and sister, Mae.
Friends are invited to visit with her family on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, CT. All other services will be private.
