Obituary for Julia M. Sanchez Walsh
Julia M. Sanchez Walsh, age 64 of Milford, passed away peacefully with her loved ones at her side Thursday, December 29, 2022. Julia was born September 15, 1958, in Milford, daughter of the late Jesus Sanchez and Judith Malone.
She was a retired Nurse’s Aide who enjoyed driving, especially to the beach and listening to music. Julie had a fun spirit, sense of humor and took great pride helping others through her generosity & compassion. She found leisure in reading and writing during her spare time, as well as playing with her cat, Oreo. She was also an avid fan of General Hospital and Grey’s Anatomy.
She is survived by her three sons, Daniel Walsh and his wife Melissa, James Walsh and Christopher Walsh and his wife Tanya; grandchildren, Monica, Tyler and Madison; siblings, Daniel Sanchez and his wife Candace, Jose Sanchez and his wife Angelica and Lisa Ford and her partner Michael; Uncle John Malone and his wife Leslie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Crystal, her brother David Sanchez and her longtime partner, Frank Peregrim.
Friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford.
A celebration of her life will begin at 12:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
