Obituary for Leslie A Scheibel
Leslie A. Scheibel, age 59, of Stratford, passed away peacefully in St. Vincent Medical Center. Leslie was born in Bridgeport July 16, 1954, daughter of the late Raymond and Lorraine Scheibel. She was a graduate of Bunnell High School Class of 1972 and Southern Connecticut University with a BS in Early Education. Leslie enjoyed going to the casinos and the Church of the Holy Rosary, Stepney. She is survived by a brother Richard Scheibel and his wife Ann of Stratford; two nephews Christopher and Kevin Scheibel; three grandnephews and one grandniece; special friends George and Eileen Charlesworth and Dory and Zeke Charlesworth. She is predeceased by a brother Raymond W. Scheibel. Friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 9:30 am from the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford and at 10:30 am in St. James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT.
