Obituary for Marilyn Mascola
Marilyn P. Mascola, of Connecticut, died on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the age 88. Born October 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Cherbina (Kate Caruso) Mascola.
Marilyn raised and educated in the Bronx and Mt. Vernon, graduated from Edison High School. She married Robert Esposito of Connecticut, he was a war veteran and fireman in Norwalk, Connecticut. Marilyn was a retired Accountant and the Founder of the AA Local Chapter in Jersey City, NJ. Marilyn was a member of the Order Sons of Italy, Le Amiche Lodge and enjoyed going to the casinos.
She was predeceased by her daughter Marie Esposito. Survivors include her grandchildren, Collene and Stephen Barns of Meriden and Gary and Bernard Esposito, both of Stratford, a sister, Genevieve Lembo, a brother, Frank Mascolo, three nephews and seven nieces.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford, CT. Interment will be private.
