Obituary for Richard Albert Heberger Sr.
Richard Albert Heberger Sr., age 79, of Milford, CT., beloved husband of Geralda (Reilly) Heberger passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 in Yale New Haven Hospital.Â
Mr. Heberger was born May 27, 1938 in New Haven, son of the late Francis and Eleanor (Buskeu) Heberger and had been a life time area resident before retiring to New Hampshire. He was a retired fourth generation Real Estate Appraiser.
He and his brother, Edward followed their father, grandfather and great grandfather into the family business, Edward F. Heberger and Associates which they had built it into the largest non-commercial appraisal practice in the country.Â
Survivors in addition to his wife include his five children, Edward Heberger of Milford, Arthur Heberger and his wife Lisa of Richmond VA; Richard Heberger Jr. of Milford; Mary Heberger of Milford and Janice Heberger of Stratford; five grandchildren, Richard, Karissa, Alyssa, Alaina and Spencer Heberger; one great-granddaughter, Sophia Taddei; one brother, Edward Heberger and several nieces and nephews.Â
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service officiated by Pastor Jeff Lukens on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit with his family Saturday before service time from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.Â
