Obituary for William "Bo" Dapp Jr.
William "Bo" Alfred Dapp Jr., age 68, of Ansonia, beloved husband of Susan (Conway) Dapp, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 in his home with his family. Mr. Dapp was born April 1, 1948 in Bridgeport, son of the late William and Kathleen (May) Dapp Sr. and had been a lifetime area resident.
Bill loved cars and was a retired auto mechanic having worked for many years at General Muffler. He enjoyed fixing things, watching classic movies, old game shows, UFC and spending time with his family.
Known to his family as 'Poppi", survivors, in addition to his wife, include his two children, Dawn Dean and husband Archie and William Dapp III; two grandchildren, Jonathan Dean and Matthew Dean; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, David Michael Dapp.
Friends are invited to attend his funeral service officiated by Deacon Timothy Bolton on Wednesday, Evening, December 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford CT. Friends may visit with his family Wednesday before service time from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
