Obituary for Debra Jarusinsky
Debra Jarusinsky, age 58, of Willimantic, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 1, 2021. Debbie was born October 23, 1962 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Patricia (Connors) Langton and the late John Jarusinsky. She was predeceased by her sister, Donna Jarusinsky, her son Patrick and her beloved cat, Coquie.

Debra spent nearly 20 years as a third shift operator at the answering service formally known as FBS in West Haven. During the duration of her life, she enjoyed showing compassion to others. Even during tough times, she found the light in every situation. Debbie took great joy in being a caregiver for all of the children in her family, especially her nieces, great-nieces and great-nephew. She made everyone laugh. She loved watching soap operas, NASCAR, and reality TV shows with her mom while she was still alive. She also enjoyed playing online games, watching TV, online shopping, and absolutely loved sitting outside for hours watching the squirrels and birds at her most recent home. She is forever thankful to her landlords for their hospitality, their friendship, and for including her as one of their own for holidays knowing she lived so far from her family.

Debbie is survived by her sister Patricia Jarusinsky, her brother Thomas Jarusinsky, and her nieces Jennifer Boyhan, Nikki McLaughlin and Michelle Weir.

Funeral services and interment will be private in accordance with Debbie's final wishes.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Animals for Life in Naugatuck.
